Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Limestone massifs formed of the Upper Jurassic Klentnice Beds (Oxfordian up to) Lower Tithonian) and Ernstbrunn Limestone (Upper Tithonian up to Hauterivian). They are overlain by the Upper Cretaceous calcareous sandstones and bioclastic limestones. Significant locality from many viewpoints, part of the biospheric reservation.
